Setup Guide

  1. Power Supply
    • Insert the battery or connect the device to mains power
    • Ensure the battery is fully charged before field use
  2. Initial Setup
    • Turn on the unit using the power button

  3. Selecting a Test
    • From the home screen, choose from the list of available tests:

      • Insulation Resistance

  4. Connecting the Appliance
    • Plug the appliance into the test socket
    • Use the supplied earth probe or crocodile clip for earth continuity tests
  5. Running the Test
    • Press the "Test" button
    • Follow on-screen prompts as required (some tests may require manual initiation or confirmation)
  6. Reading the Results
    • Results will be displayed immediately on-screen
    • A Pass/Fail indication is shown based on AS/NZS 3760 standards
  7. Saving or Recording Results
    • This unit does not have onboard memory but is compatible with printers and manual recording logs
