Every kit below is built around the same PAT tester - the Metrel DeltaPAT 3309 BT. The difference is what's bundled with it - your printer, software, and scanning setup.

DeltaPAT + Godex Printer

DeltaPAT + Godex Printer Comparison

Simple Setup, Great Print Quality

The DeltaPAT + Godex Printer combines DeltaPAT 3309 BT tester with a Godex desktop-style Bluetooth printer, giving you a reliable on-site print solution at a lower price point. It's a good option if you want durable, industrial-grade test tags without paying for the complete wireless setup.

The Godex R200 printer, however, does not come with a rechargeable battery pack, so it must be plugged into mains power - something to keep in mind if you're working in the field. The other major difference is that it doesn't come with a heavy-duty transit case.

This kit prints long-lasting test tags on the spot using a thermal transfer ribbon (same as the Complete Kit), and the printer comes ready with your company logo preloaded. If you're not fussed about going fully wireless, it's a solid setup at a sharp price.

Limitations: Doesn't come with a carry case or a rechargeable battery for the printer.

DeltaPAT & Godex Complete Kit

DeltaPAT & Godex Complete Kit

Best Value for Industrial Tagging

The DeltaPAT & Godex Complete Kit is built for test and taggers who want quick scanning and durability that lasts in rough environments. It uses a beefy Godex printer with a built-in battery and connects to your Android device using PATLink Android. QR codes make retesting super fast. The kit comes with a heavy-duty carry case for extra protection.

This particular kit doesn't utilise the aPAT software (which is more advanced), however, you can purchase this separately and connect them together.

Bonus: Heavy duty carry case and rechargeable NiMH printer battery.

Limitations: Basic PATLink software (can be changed, though).

Delta Pro Print Pack

Smart, Wireless & Made for Speed

The Delta Pro Print Pack is the premium pick. The wireless Zebra printer clips to your belt and prints Direct Thermal tags. PAT Tester talks to your tablet, and aPAT software handles scanning, tagging, logging, and syncing. Super fast onsite, made for teams who need everything done digitally.

The kit has been rated the #1 PAT Testing Kit for 2025 for the third consecutive year.

Bonus: Belt-mount printer, 100% wireless

Limitations: Tags can fade under the sun and aren't as strong as Thermal Transfer

Delta Go Print Kit

Lightweight & Fully Portable

Basically, the Delta Go Print Kit is the baby brother of the Pro Pack. You still get a wireless printer, Android app, and the same tagging power – but it comes in a soft carry case, not a rigid box. It's good if you're driving around a lot and want something easier to haul.

Bonus: Soft carry case, light setup.

Limitations: Same tag fading as Pro Pack.

In Summary

All these kits are built around the Metrel DeltaPAT 3309 BT, so you're starting with a rock-solid tester no matter which way you go. The rest just depends on how you work:
